I grew up in a pretty unhealthy Midwestern lifestyle; but after going to college in the West and falling in love with rock-climbing and outdoor activities, I realized how special the human body is and how much we can influence our ability to physically interact with the world. My freshman year of college I lost 70lbs, and moved schools to pursue studies in Exercise Science in Flagstaff, AZ. I pursued all the knowledge I could find including becoming a personal trainer and yoga instructor, working with everyone from young athletes to instructing senior citizen fitness classes. I was even a Licensed Massage Therapist from 2016-2020! In 2018, I transitioned to more traditional 9-5 work which is when I sought out the best barbell coaches I could find as I fell in love with Olympic Weightlifting. Even as I began desk jobs, I wanted to continue pursuing my athletic potential through highly technical lifting programs. This passion has fueled my personal growth as a coach and brought me into the CrossFit gym, continuing my building of new skills and ways to push myself and others around me. I am a lifelong coach with a passion for sharing knowledge and helping others seek goals beyond their wildest dreams.
