We want to make sure Leaf Gym is a great fit for you, and even if it isn't quite right, we want to help guide you to one of our local gym partners because your health is the most valuable asset you'll ever have; without it, nothing else matters. What makes Leaf Gym different?

It starts with our professional coaching. Our teaching is our greatest value proposition, and we invest significant time, money and energy in our coaching staff development to ensure we deliver the highest quality instruction that will challenge you, keep you safe, and lead you directly to your goals.

What kind of exercises can I expect?

Our class programming is based on the Level Method system. Classes can often include a strength portion in which you’ll work on something like Olympic weightlifting, deadlifting, squatting, or bodyweight strength or you may work on a new skill. After the strength or skill portion of the class is complete, most days will involve a workout that was programmed for that specific day. Workouts can be anywhere between 5 to 40 minutes or more. Classes are 60 minutes in length and vary day-to-day.

How long until I see results?

Big results can take time, but if you’re consistent, they will undoubtedly come. If you are a beginner, results will come fairly quickly; even in only 30 days, you may start to see a difference in your strength and overall fitness.

How often should I come to class or sessions?

If you are a beginner, we recommend starting with 2 to 4 classes a week, with the goal of working up to 5 a week after your first few months. It may take a while for your body to get used to training at that intensity, so listen to your body and know you will need recovery time between training days.

Do I need to be fit to join?

No! No matter what your current fitness level is, we have the fitness program that is right for you. Every workout is designed to help you succeed, improve fitness, and move you toward your goals. Our program is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience.

How do I get started?

Your journey begins with a No Sweat Introduction, to show you around, establish your goals, and for us to get to know each other. From there, we begin with our Roots on Ramp sessions to ASSESS where you are today, and once completed, you'll be primed for either group class or your personal training track designed perfectly for your current capacity and aimed toward your goals.

I'm a little nervous about starting, do you have an on ramp process?

It is normal for most if not all of our members to have been nervous at the start. Our Roots On Ramp process begins your journey and will introduce you to our gym, the movements themselves, and to our coaches, all in a comfortable setting and pace. Through a series of 5 one-on-one appointments, you'll establish each of your levels of capacity in 15 areas and your workouts from then on will be customized to meet you right where you are at.
