Coaching is the Secret
Coaching is the Secret.
If you have ever tried to do anything, it is almost a certainty that you had a coach, whether you acknowledged it or not.
Coaching comes in many forms:
(1) A person paid and given the title of Coach
(2) A more experienced person willing to teach you what they know, a teacher.
(3) An intentional sharer via digital means, think Youtube or other video platforms
(4) The unknowing participant in the learning process you observe as you "steal" the important information from their activity or mishaps and gather for your own
Regardless of the coaching source, we all must acknowledge how valuable learning from someone else is because it is the most powerful shortcut to getting what we want.
Bad coaching will set you back, injure you, or leave you questioning if your goals are even possible for you.
Good coaching will keep you coming back, hopefully for awhile. It will challenge you, encourage you, and make you feel worthy of your goals.
Access to and following excellent coaching is what stands between you and living the life you dream to live. Excellent coaching is rocket fuel.
Excellent Coaching is Rocket Fuel
You have your idea, your skill, your aim in mind. You show up hopeful that today could be the day that you conquer the thing that has been evading you. But inside, you are maybe a little doubtful, or maybe a lot doubtful. After all, you have tried this thing so many times before, and, failed.
But today will be different.
Excellent coaching will make the difference. Today will be different because for the first time, you took the courageous step to ask someone outside of yourself to guide you, to critique you, offer feedback, and then apply what they have shared.
John Franklin, newly minted CEO of Two Brain Business, the largest gym business mentorship in the world, shared a powerful quote recently from his own former coach, stating, "It is much easier to read the label from outside of the jar."
We need to have a trusted, practiced, seasoned observer outside of us that can serve to encourage, guide, and provide timely feedback if we are going to make real progress toward our aim. And that person will need to be there regularly, willing to offer equal measures of actionable feedback and encouragement as we fumble through the learning and implementing process.
Without an excellent coach, we might eventually stumble onto our initial aim. However, having excellent coaching propels us so much further faster that it builds a hedge between us and giving up when it all gets too tough. We are so much further along than we would ever be solo.
The greatest athletes, and really, humans of all types in every realm, have (and need) excellent coaches.
At LEAF, we deploy excellent coaches onto the floor everyday.
They know you, your history and your dreams, your kids names, the stressors on your life, and they know how to guide you to the best workout, for YOU, for that day.
Do yourself a favor. If today is finally that day for you, get in, book your consult and let's get started. Let's pour some rocket fuel into your dream.
